About me
I'm a Dubai-based multilingual writer and creative communications strategist with a passion for storytelling and all things travel. I've been lucky enough to call the UK, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and currently the UAE home. My first travel memory was crying on the deck of the cross-channel ferry from France to England as a four-year-old because I didn't want the holiday to end. And I've been exploring ever since.
I love travel in all its forms, whether it's remote off-the-beaten-path discoveries, exploring Soviet brutalist architecture, jumping off a yacht into the Red Sea, or just taking a walk around my hometown. I believe adventure can lie in everyday finds.
I decided to start a travel blog at a time when we couldn't travel so that I could share some of my discoveries, experiences and hopefully some inspiration for when we're allowed to move again. Since then, my writing has been featured in Condé Nast Traveller Middle East and India editions, Departures International, The Sun, The Times, and more.
If you're looking for a writer with in-depth knowledge of Dubai, the remoter corners of the United Arab Emirates and the broader region, please get in touch.
And please feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project together. I have plenty of other travel secrets to share that are safely locked away for now.
